Job Overview:
Encot Microfinance Limited is looking for a Marketing Officer to drive business growth, promote the company’s services, and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for business growth to increase the loan portfolio and revenue.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote the company’s products and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and regulators.
- Manage marketing budgets and track return on investment (ROI).
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer experience.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and industry developments.
- Develop strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
- Report on marketing performance and business growth metrics.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Growth in loan portfolio.
- Deposit mobilization rates.
- Customer acquisition and retention rates.
- Marketing ROI.
- Brand visibility and awareness (social media and website traffic).
- Customer satisfaction ratings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or financial services.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of the microfinance industry and the Ugandan market.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Analytics.
