Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Job Overview:

The M&E Officer will provide operational services to both the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) team and the INTPA project. This role is responsible for ensuring that all M&E activities are well-structured, implemented according to M&E principles, and completed comprehensively and on time. The M&E Officer will integrate M&E activities into program implementation and offer technical and operational support while coordinating the management of these activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure M&E activities are embedded within program implementation.
  • Provide technical operational support to the MERL team and INTPA project.
  • Coordinate and manage the M&E activities, ensuring structured and timely execution.
  • Assist in ensuring that all planned M&E activities align with M&E principles.
  • Support the project in tracking progress, evaluating outcomes, and identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience working in M&E, preferably in the NGO or humanitarian sector.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work with a team and manage various M&E tasks efficiently.
  • Understanding of M&E principles and experience embedding M&E activities into program implementation.

Reports to:

Project Manager with a matrix reporting to the Thematic MER Coordinator.

Position Grade:

Level 13
