Job Description:
The Stock Auditor will be responsible for conducting system and physical stock reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy of stock counts, and coordinating stock management processes at the warehouse. Key responsibilities include:
- Reconciling system stocks with physical stocks by location and resolving discrepancies on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Reporting any operational non-adherence to warehouse management and processes.
- Recommending improvements to streamline warehouse processes.
- Ensuring stock count procedures are communicated and respected by the warehouse team.
- Coordinating monthly stock counts with customers and ensuring all reconciling items are addressed promptly.
- Ensuring accurate posting of all system transactions in line with source documents.
- Safely archiving all source documents used to update the system.
- Acting as the point of contact for customer and internal audits.
- Setting up tracking tools to monitor warehouse errors.
- Analyzing and explaining stock shrinkages related to system or internal issues.
- Managing non-conforming stock and ensuring proper authorization for unblocking.
- Enforcing adherence to return case management processes and SOPs.
- Participating actively in stock take planning, preparation, and physical counts.
- Maintaining safety and compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) rules to ensure product safety and quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or FMCG environments.
- Knowledge and experience in SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A professional certificate in auditing or accounting is an added advantage.
