Job Description:

The Agency Manager will be responsible for interacting with Debt Collection Agencies (DCA) and legal firms, along with customers, to recover and manage debt within the Post Write Off Portfolio (PWOR), charge off, and pre-charge off portfolios. The role aims to minimize collection costs in line with Business Policies and Procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring DCAs and legal firms’ performance daily through reports, addressing deviations to performance immediately.
• Conducting daily performance discussions with DCAs and legal firms on key metrics like Promises to Pay, settlements, and trace targets.
• Implementing action plans to address deviations in performance and ensuring the agreed targets are met.
• Conducting daily audits and callbacks (at least 25 per day) to ensure appropriate actions and treatments are executed by DCAs and legal firms.
• Managing and enforcing the effective application of performance management, compliance with standards, and business processes.
• Processing refunds, validating invoices, and ensuring correct DCA invoices are processed within the agreed SLA.
• Timely actioning of general telephone and email requests from DCAs, and monitoring the receipt and verification of streaming reports by the support team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Higher Diplomas in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies.
• Experience: Knowledge of debt recovery processes and working with external agencies like DCAs and legal firms is essential. Proficiency in performance management and control processes will be valuable.

Key Skills:

• Strong debt recovery and portfolio management capabilities.
• Proficient in communication, audit reporting, and compliance monitoring.
• Knowledge of service level agreements (SLA) and performance tracking.
