Job Summary

HERS-EA is offering an Administrative Internship for a motivated individual pursuing or recently graduated in Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, Communication, Accounting, or any related field. This role provides hands-on experience in supporting the organization’s daily administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and direct correspondence as needed.
  • Welcome and attend to visitors and inquiries.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Maintain calendars and schedules for managers and teams.
  • Prepare, format, and edit reports, memos, and presentations.
  • Manage physical and digital filing systems efficiently.
  • Support data entry and record-keeping, ensuring the accuracy of office activity logs.
  • Coordinate office supplies and repairs to maintain office functionality.
  • Prepare materials, agendas, and minutes for meetings, handling sensitive information discreetly.
  • Assist in preparing expense reports, tracking invoices, and processing payments.
  • Arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, and transportation for staff and guests.
  • Provide additional support to the Operations and Communications Manager as required.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, Communication, Accounting, or any related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach.
