Senior Associate, Digital Communications

Reports to: Communications Director

Women Deliver is seeking a Senior Associate, Digital Communications to manage and enhance our digital platforms and campaigns. This role involves translating and communicating Women Deliver’s brand across various digital channels, optimizing online engagement, and ensuring cohesive messaging.

Responsibilities:

Strategy, Content, and Data:

  • Collaborate with the Communications Director and team to create digital content that aligns with our brand.
  • Co-create and execute digital campaigns for organizational goals and special projects.
  • Manage the digital content calendar and coordinate with teams across the organization.
  • Support content creation for storytelling projects, including written, audio, video, and graphics.
  • Develop and report on digital communications metrics and performance.
  • Liaise with vendors for technical support and content creation.

Social Media:

  • Oversee daily management of Women Deliver’s social media channels: create, schedule, and monitor content; lead community engagement.
  • Align branding across social media, websites, and newsletters.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns: strategize on content, platforms, and audience.

Websites:

  • Update and manage website content, including copy, graphics, and animations.
  • Monitor and suggest adjustments based on website performance metrics.
  • Assist in designing new digital tools and coordinating with developers.

Newsletter:

  • Build and send newsletters: prepare content, manage segmentation, and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Develop and execute strategies for newsletter growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 4-6 years of experience in digital and social media.
  • Proven success in driving audience growth and engagement.
  • Expertise in analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social).
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe, CapCut).
  • Strong writing skills for social media; experience with Website CMS and newsletter platforms.
  • Passion for gender equality and SRHR is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues.
  • Language skills (French and/or Spanish) are advantageous.
  • Commitment to fostering an anti-racist and inclusive workplace.
  • Work authorization for the location is required.
