Job Description:
The Team Leaders-SME Loans are responsible for evaluating and approving loan applications within their loan limit by reviewing applicants’ financial status, credit history, and collateral. They will lead a team of Loan Officers to achieve sales targets and maintain portfolio quality.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to meet team portfolio quality targets.
- Recruit and lead Loans Officers to meet set targets.
- Develop and implement staff retention strategies.
- Provide regular training and support to sales agents on all loan processes.
- Create and execute marketing strategies for Loan Officers to help them achieve individual targets.
- Supervise Loan Officers to ensure they meet their monthly sales and portfolio quality goals.
- Participate in branch loans committee meetings for loan appraisal and approval, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Enforce a zero-tolerance policy on fraud within the team.
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction in line with the company’s customer service charter.
- Ensure team discipline aligns with company values.
Required Qualifications & Work Experience:
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledgeable about SME Loans.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Minimum age: 23 years, Maximum age: 35 years.
