Reports to: Field Supervisor
Key Result Areas:
- Participate in all training sessions.
- Locate the assigned households in the work allocation.
- Collect information in all the assigned areas.
- Ensure that all the field materials/equipment are properly handled, used, and returned to the supervisor after the enumeration exercise.
- Document any challenges and report them immediately.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE).
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least a Credit in Maths and English.
- Certificate in Computer Applications is an added advantage.
- Female candidates are highly recommended to apply.
- Must have written and oral fluency in at least one of these local languages: Ateso, Luganda, Lugbara, Luo, Ngakarimojong, Runyankole – Rukiga, Runyoro – Rutoro, Lusoga, Lumasaaba, Rukonjo.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of continuous data collection experience.
Skills and Other Attributes:
- Good computer knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Must be available exclusively for the UMIS activity.
