Job Summary:
TMR Hospital is seeking a qualified Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, managing pharmaceutical supplies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications to patients according to prescriptions and medical guidelines.
- Manage and maintain pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices in the dispensing of medications.
- Provide accurate information to patients about their medications, including dosage, side effects, and storage.
- Maintain detailed records of dispensed medications and inventory management.
- Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy support staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Pharmacy or Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role within a reputable organization.
- Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and hospital information management systems.
- Strong knowledge of hospital procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resourceful and proactive in handling arising issues.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage a team.
