Branch Operations Manager (Full Time Microfinance Job) – Pride Microfinance Limited

Job Summary:

The Branch Operations Manager will report to the Branch Manager and will be based at any of Pride’s branches. He/she will be responsible for overseeing and controlling general operations at the branch by guiding, monitoring, controlling, and planning for resources, ensuring that all branch activities are carried out in line with the bank’s internal controls.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the growth and achievement of the branch deposits and non-credit income targets.
• Hold relevant branch individuals accountable for the implementation of effective strategies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure 100% compliance with branch operations, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise cash operations within the branch while ensuring that the highest standard of customer service is delivered.
• Monitor and manage the branch’s liquidity by maintaining up-to-date liquidity projection reports and replenishing the branch’s ATMs.
• Manage the performance, productivity, and development of unit staff in line with set HR guidelines.
• Develop and adhere to annual branch budgets.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Four years of experience in banking operations. Internal staff should have at least a good performance rating in the recent 2 appraisal cycles.
• Knowledge in banking operations and should not be more than 40 years of age.
