Job Summary:
The social sciences graduate trainee will support qualitative data collection, data transcription, data analysis, and organizing of qualitative interview groups. The trainee will support the MRC DRONES project and other Academy qualitative projects with the guidance and supervision of the Social Sciences Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen potential subjects to determine their eligibility as study participants
  • Recruit and schedule research participants
  • Obtain informed consent
  • Conduct interviews with research participants
  • Assist in the design of qualitative interview guides and other data collection tools
  • Perform data entry and data cleaning, including transcription of audio files
  • Conduct quality control checks on study case report forms
  • Uphold the organization and the Academy’s external image
  • Perform any other roles as designated by the supervisors
