Job Summary: UBOS is hiring Enumerators to conduct post-enumeration census in assigned Enumeration Areas (EAs) as part of the Post Enumeration Survey (PES).
Job Purpose: The Enumerators will be responsible for collecting data on all persons and households in their assigned EA using a tablet and following given instructions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in all training sessions.
- Collect information using a tablet on all persons and households in the assigned EA.
- Transmit all collected data to the server daily.
- Notify the parish supervisor of daily field progress.
- Prepare an end-of-assignment report.
- Maintain all PES materials/equipment in perfect working condition.
- Handover PES materials and tools to the immediate supervisor after the enumeration exercise.
- Perform any other assigned functions for the PES.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Qualifications: Should possess at least an A’ level Certificate or its equivalent.
- Experience: No prior participation in the National Population and Housing Census (NPHC) 2024.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Must have a National Identity Card.
- Aged between 18 and 50 years.
- Knowledge in basic computer applications.
- Responsible citizen of good character and integrity.
- Must be a resident of the district they wish to work in.
- Good communication and public relations skills.
- Must possess a smartphone.
- Phone number registered on Mobile Money in their own names matching the national ID.
- Must be available exclusively for the PES activity.
