Job Title: Receptionist

Purpose of Position:

The purpose of this position is to provide technical and administrative assistance to all units within the HR Department of Hariss International Limited.

Job Duties:

• Handle all routine and non-routine correspondence, letters addressed to the units.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the office, especially the reception area.
• Use excellent customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the general public.
• Greet and direct employees in person or by telephone and answer questions.
• Provide general information on Hariss International.
• Receive callers at the department reception, determine nature of business, and direct callers to their destination.
• Distribute Hariss brochures, information, and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Degree from a recognized institute. A professional qualification in Office Management will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
• Records management skills.
• Planning and organization skills.
• Ability to work courteously with office personnel and the general public.
• Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
• Ability to communicate and empathize with employees.

• 1 year of experience in a similar position in a busy working environment.
