Job Description:
Position: Head of Business Development – Alternative, Direct & Partnerships
Role Purpose:
- Support the CEO in developing departmental strategies, budgets, and business plans.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth within alternative channels, direct sales, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee the financial performance of the alternative channels, direct sales, and strategic partnerships workstreams, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap for the department, aligned with the organization’s goals and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Strategy, or any other related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, or Business-related fields.
- Diploma in Insurance/ACII/LOMA Qualifications.
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within the Life Insurance Business.
- Experience operating in complex business environments and/or regulated sectors.
- Strong personal qualities to develop robust stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ‘best in class’ knowledge of technology, change, process improvement, and operational management in relevant businesses.
- Experience in building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, and providing guidance and mentorship to finance professionals.
