Job Description
Hima Cement Limited is seeking two motivated Industrial/Mobile Equipment Operators to operate equipment such as Front Loaders, Excavators, and Dump Trucks. These operators will ensure smooth and safe cement milling operations, including loading materials, stockpiling, and offloading on a 24/7 basis. Reporting to the Control Room Operator, the operators will maintain health and safety standards, conduct equipment maintenance, and uphold cleanliness standards in their operational areas.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform pre-start inspections of equipment and report findings to the equipment mechanic.
- Load mill feed hoppers with various materials according to quality department guidelines.
- Stockpile materials as per specifications and guidelines.
- Clear offloading platforms promptly for delivery trucks.
- Ensure compliance with plant environmental standards.
- Maintain continuous material availability for operations.
- Ensure equipment and contractor employee safety.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
Technical Competencies
- Practical knowledge of Front Loader/Excavator/Dump Truck with a valid Class G driving permit.
- Good understanding of cement manufacturing processes.
- Defensive driving knowledge/training.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations in an industrial environment.
Profile & Personal Qualities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues promptly.
- Strong team player with good verbal communication skills.
- Self-driven and able to work under pressure.
- Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
- Willingness to work extended hours as required.
