Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU), a subsidiary of CCBA, is currently seeking to recruit Load Makers based in Kampala and Mbarara. As a Load Maker, you will report directly to the Warehouse Team Leader.

Key Purpose Statement

The primary role of the Load Maker is to ensure all stock leaving and entering the premises are checked, counted, and recorded.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Check Products: Ensure all products are checked before dispatch.
• Verification: Verify the picking slip with the load manifest and invoice.
• Order Accuracy: Ensure mixed pallets tie up to the order.
• Row Assignment: Assign row for forklift driver to pick up products based on Date of Delivery (DOD).
• Tag Management: Manage DOD tags for all products in the warehouse.
• Returns Checking: Check product and empty bottles returned from the market.
• Record Keeping: Record the quantity of pallets dispatched to the market and check the quantity of pallets returned.
• Truck Management: Manage truck space in the yard for loading and unloading.
• Stock Counting: Perform full stock count daily.
• Empties Counting: Perform daily count of all stock.
• Yard Management: Manage the empties, full product, and pallet stacking in the yard.
• General Tasks: Assist with general tasks as needed.

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

• At least 1 year in Procurement and Warehouse Operations.

Competencies:

• Ability to work in teams.

• Self-disciplined.
