Position Overview
The Store Clerk will provide key services to support the Logistics function, including ensuring proper documentation for all store functions such as shipping and receiving records and supervising the stock movements. Additionally, the Store Clerk will ensure the store is well organized and properly maintained.
Key Activities and Deliverables of the Role
- Product Handling:
- Accept delivered products, count them, and fill out relevant documents.
- Ensure all products are properly loaded and unloaded according to the packing list.
- Prepare products for transfer to clients.
- Stock Management:
- Ensure weekly stock counts are accurate, reconciled, and forwarded to the hub manager.
- Maintain up-to-date stock cards for each stock item.
- Keep the stock room neatly organized and clearly labeled.
- Replenish inventory by making orders.
- Replace damaged or missing products as approved by hub managers under warranties.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- File delivery notes of products from deliveries signed by group leaders and customers.
- Prepare daily stock delivery summaries in Excel and share them with the hub manager.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Communicate with group coordinators and group leaders to plan deliveries.
- Coordinate and track the movement of stock.
- Attend weekly stock reconciliation and stock level adjustment meetings with the hub manager.
- Review service provider rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low.
- Ensure customers receive products by collecting delivery notes.

- Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Excel.
- Holds a Diploma in a relevant field such as Business Management, Purchasing and Supplies, Social Work, Community Development, etc.
- Prior work experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
