Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to the Finance and Operations Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements.
- Process payments, including payroll, vendor invoices, and other disbursements.
- Ensure compliance with CTPH’s financial policies and procedures.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure proper allocation of funds.
- Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow projections.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Finance and Operations Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within an NGO.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
