About Company:
FAWE Uganda Chapter aims to support young women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in Eastern and Northern Uganda to access higher education. Through partnerships with universities and educational institutions, FAWE provides bursaries, academic, and psychosocial support to empower young women to complete their studies and contribute to community development.

Description:
FAWE Uganda invites applications for bursaries for the academic year 2024/2025. The bursaries aim to support young women from specific districts in Eastern and Northern Uganda to pursue various educational programs, including university degree programs and diploma and certificate courses in medical fields.

Qualifications:

  • Age between 18 and 25 years
  • Willingness to contribute to community development
  • Female applicants from the specified districts are highly encouraged

How to Apply:

  1. Obtain application forms from:
    • Academic Registrars’ offices of partner universities (Busitema, Gulu, Lira, MUST)
    • Mulago Paramedical School
    • Jinja School of Nursing and Midwifery
    • Medical Laboratory Technology Training School Jinja
    • District Education Offices in the 9 Program districts
    • FAWE Uganda Office, Plot 328, Bukoto – Kisaasi Road, P.O. Box 24117 Kampala, Uganda
    • Download from FAWE Uganda website
  2. Fill in the application form completely.
  3. Submit the filled-in application form along with required documents to:
    • Office of the District Education Officer (DEO)
    • Partner institutions named above
    • FAWE Uganda Offices
