Job Summary:
The drivers will be responsible for vehicle driving, mechanical maintenance, and vehicle control under the supervision of the Administrative Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive project vehicles as required.
- Maintain vehicle logbooks and report any issues.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and regular maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and organizational policies.
- Assist with the transportation needs of senior officials and staff.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Ordinary Level Certificate of Education.
- Valid driver’s license classes B, CM, and DL.
- At least five years of experience as a driver in a Non-Governmental Organisation.
- Experience in driving senior officials.
- History of a safe driving record.
- Experience driving 4X4 vehicles on rough terrain.
- Defensive driving experience.
- Knowledge of upcountry regions in Uganda is an added advantage.
