Job Description: Watoto Childcare Ministries is seeking a Nurse to support day-to-day clinical activities within Watoto Clinics. As a Nurse, you will participate in clinical rounds, perform nursing duties, ensure prompt resolution of clinical issues, and maintain up-to-date medical records.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily clinical rounds and perform nursing duties as allocated by the Supervisor.
• Ensure prompt resolution of clinical issues prioritizing the health and well-being of patients.
• Identify and contain infections early, providing clear instructions about infection control.
• Participate in patients’ and children’s feed calculations and nutritional management.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records and provide clinical updates to the Supervisor.
• Participate in health programs within and outside Watoto as needed.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Diploma in Nursing from a reputable institution.
• Registered Nurse with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
• Minimum two years’ experience in nursing.
• Valid and current practicing license.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to patients.
• Passionate about community healthcare and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to working within standardized guidelines of nursing care.
