Candidate Profile:

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Logistics, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in supply logistics.
  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • MS-Office analytical & reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with Uganda Customs requirements.
  • Ability to work well within a team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the sourcing and supply planning of petroleum products.
  • Analyze supply purchases and accurately post them in SAP.
  • Prepare and present monthly stock reconciliations.
  • Maintain vendor lists and analyze invoices before the payment process.
  • Assist in SAP-MM maintenance when required.
  • Provide training to new users on SAP-MM processes.

Context & Environment: The Supply Officer will work within the procurement domain, focusing on supply logistics and vendor management in the oil & gas industry in Uganda. The role requires proficiency in SAP and adherence to Uganda Customs requirements.

Main Objective: The main objective of the role is to ensure prompt and accurate posting of stocks in SAP, manage fuel purchases and stock reconciliations, and analyze vendor invoices for payment processes.
