Candidate Profile:
Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Logistics, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in supply logistics.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- MS-Office analytical & reporting skills.
- Familiarity with Uganda Customs requirements.
- Ability to work well within a team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in the sourcing and supply planning of petroleum products.
- Analyze supply purchases and accurately post them in SAP.
- Prepare and present monthly stock reconciliations.
- Maintain vendor lists and analyze invoices before the payment process.
- Assist in SAP-MM maintenance when required.
- Provide training to new users on SAP-MM processes.
Context & Environment: The Supply Officer will work within the procurement domain, focusing on supply logistics and vendor management in the oil & gas industry in Uganda. The role requires proficiency in SAP and adherence to Uganda Customs requirements.
Main Objective: The main objective of the role is to ensure prompt and accurate posting of stocks in SAP, manage fuel purchases and stock reconciliations, and analyze vendor invoices for payment processes.
