Job Title: Manager Internal Audit

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Annual Planning:

  • Participate in the development of the Internal Audit annual plan.
  • Implement the plan to add value to the business.

Performing:

  • Prepare and review engagement plans, ensuring conformity to international standards.
  • Monitor audit progress and ensure timely completion.

Reporting:

  • Review and ensure quality draft audit reports.
  • Participate in the completion of Board reports.

Monitoring:

  • Coordinate follow-up of internal audit findings.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of audit plans, reports, and follow-up audits.

Quality Assurance:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and auditing standards.
  • Participate in special audit investigations and consulting assignments.

Co-ordination:

  • Support External Auditors and assist in their audit work.
  • Assist in planning resource allocation and utilization.

Other duties:

  • Support the Head of Internal Audit with additional duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Full professional qualification in ACCA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate studies in Business Administration, Finance, or Auditing.
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience, with at least two years in senior management.

Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of governance, risk, and control.
  • Business acumen and knowledge of corporate governance frameworks.
  • Excellent numerical skills and ability to apply risk-based auditing.

Behavioral:

  • Professional ethics and ability to work under pressure.
  • Critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interviewing skills.
