Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Digital Transformation Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for the digitization of the institution’s operations and providing support for technical and IT functions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a digital strategy
- Identify and implement opportunities presented by emerging digital technologies and digital-enabled business models
- Establish and maintain external relationships with technology vendors and relevant ecosystems
- Act as a thought leader, articulating the digital future of the institution
- Educate management on digital matters, fostering tech fluency from the top down
- Lead the development of digital capabilities necessary for transformation throughout the enterprise
- Drive the transition to an insight-driven organization, leveraging data for business decisions
- Cultivate digital talent within the organization through staff development and talent acquisition
- Champion the process of identifying, testing, evaluating, and scaling (or discontinuing) new digital technologies, ensuring relevance to the business
- Oversee the execution of digital initiatives
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or business
- Demonstrated innovation, understanding the intersection of technology and business, and awareness of new tech trends and products
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Understanding of IT fundamentals
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, involving the design and launch of digital platforms or products
- Proven leadership of successful digital transformation projects
- Understanding of core business processes and associated technical solutions
- Innovative and disruptive mindset, constantly seeking forward-thinking solutions
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with colleagues
