Job Summary:

Double Q Company Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Officer to join our dynamic team in Kampala. The Claims Officer will play a crucial role in efficiently processing and managing insurance claims, ensuring timely resolution, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate insurance claims to determine coverage eligibility.
• Investigate claim validity by gathering and analyzing relevant information.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, and stakeholders to obtain necessary documentation and information.
• Review policy terms and conditions to ensure accurate claim processing.
• Assess damages and losses, negotiating settlements within established guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of claims processing activities and communications.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex claims issues.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in insurance claims processing or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software.
