In Uganda, Compassion International works to positively impact the long-term development of children living in poverty.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining Personal and Professional Standards:
    • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
    • Act as an advocate for children, prioritizing child protection considerations in all activities and decision-making.
  2. Supporting Church Partnerships:
    • Assist in nurturing relationships with local church partners, fostering mutual respect, trust, and service.
    • Support church partners in ministry planning, capacity building, and resource mobilization.
  3. Program Cycle Assistance:
    • Aid church partners in all phases of the Program Cycle, including needs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
    • Coordinate with other team members to support church-owned strategies and interventions.
  4. Cluster Operations:
    • Coordinate activities within a cluster of churches, demonstrating responsiveness to local needs and fostering collaboration.
    • Monitor and facilitate the renewal of partnership agreements between Compassion and church partners.
  5. Child Protection:
    • Support the implementation of child protection standards within church partners.
    • Report any child protection concerns through Compassion’s internal processes and assist in investigations as necessary.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve Partnership Management objectives.
    • Support the implementation of local process improvements based on feedback and metrics.
  7. Fulfilling Commitments:
    • Ensure fulfillment of Compassion’s commitments to church partners and stakeholders.
    • Utilize knowledge in mobilization and facilitation practices to identify and address church partner needs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Experience: No experience required beyond the minimum education requirement.
