About CCBA: Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, responsible for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) is a subsidiary of CCBA.
Key Purpose Statement: The primary role of the Quality Assurance Technologist (QAT) is the maintenance of the quality assurance system, quality coaching and improvement, and ensuring CCBA standards are met.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Align Quality Goals and Objectives with Business Strategic Priorities.
- Engage with Internal & external Customers to Develop Partnerships and Capability.
- Lead the implementation of Quality (Control) at Source and the development of the Quality Assurance function at Plant Level.
- Maintenance of the Quality systems and ensuring CCBA and TCCC standards are met.
- Ensure Quality Governance, Good Manufacturing Practice, and Good Laboratory Practice standards are maintained in all facilities.
- Review and Interpretation of SPC data and ensuring that this knowledge is extended to the production lines.
- Review all quality-related Data and ensure that daily data review routines are kept by QAQCs and team leaders.
- Oversee specialized testing e.g. Micro and ensure that results are reviewed.
- Ensure that relevant reporting is done as per reporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Line Manager.
Skills, Experience & Education:
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or any other related field.
- Added advantage: At least 1 year in a leadership role.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in Food Processing Plant, good process knowledge, preferably in a bottling environment.
