Key Responsibilities
- Driving: Safely transport authorized passengers and deliver packages as per World Vision’s vehicle usage policy.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition through regular checks and maintenance.
- Safety and Security: Maintain the security of the vehicle, passengers, and cargo, adhering strictly to traffic laws and organizational policies.
- Documentation: Accurately record travel logs, maintain vehicle hygiene, and prepare monthly vehicle reports.
- Professional Conduct: Uphold professionalism in dress and conduct, representing World Vision’s values.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of an O-level certificate.
- Experience: At least three years of driving experience.
- Licensing: Holds a valid driving permit and can provide an Interpol report from government security institutions.
- Skills: Competence in vehicle maintenance, knowledge of road safety, and basic first aid skills. Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Language: Effective communication skills in English and local languages.
- Travel: Must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 60% of the time.
- Other: A background in NGO emergency response is preferred. Must be a committed Christian, able to engage in World Vision’s religious activities and respect denominational diversity.
