Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and update branch strategies based on the bank’s overall strategy.
2. Set budgets and targets for branches aligned with retail targets.
3. Drive performance to increase penetration into target customer segments.
4. Ensure superior service levels across all customer touch points.
5. Develop alternate channels for customer delivery to enhance convenience and reduce service delivery costs.
6. Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, audit, and compliance guidelines.
7. Maintain a motivating work environment focused on performance.
8. Collaborate with Branch Managers for remedial actions and support.
9. Co-ordinate work process improvements across the branch network.
10. Manage operational risks and workflows, provide approvals on credit applications.
11. Provide mentoring, management of network staff, and oversee staffing capacity and recruitment.
12. Identify training and development needs for network staff.
13. Talent spotting and succession planning for performers in the branch network.
14. Manage service delivery to the highest competitive standards, set and monitor service standards, and take remedial action as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Degree in any related business field.
• Master’s or any other certification or PGD will be an added advantage.
• At least 8 years of banking experience with a proven record in sales, business banking, customer profiling, portfolio management, and retail business.
• The candidate must have held a senior business role or management role for the previous 3 years.
