University Scholarships for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students

Background:
The Muljibhai Madhvani Foundation, Uganda’s largest private sector Education Trust, is offering Seven Hundred Fifty Million Uganda Shillings (Ushs 750,000,000/=) worth of University scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025. These scholarships are aimed at supporting gifted but financially challenged Ugandan students pursuing studies at both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. The scholarships cover various disciplines including Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Commerce, Engineering, Food Science & Technology, Information Technology, Hotel Management, Pharmacy, Nursing, Architecture, Veterinary Medicine, Actuarial Science, Environmental Studies, and Human Medicine.

Undergraduate Applicants:

  • Must be Ugandan citizens.
  • Should have completed their first year of University study with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of not less than 3.0, without any exam retakes in the first year.

Postgraduate Applicants:

  • Must be Ugandan citizens.
  • Should hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be admitted to or registered for a postgraduate program.

How to Apply:

  1. Download and print the application form free of charge from the website: www.madhvanifoundation.com.
  2. Fill out the application form completely and accurately.
  3. Submit the completed application form to either of the following addresses:In Person: Muljibhai Madhvani Foundation, C/o East African Distributors Limited, Plot 96-98 Business Park, 5ª Street Industrial Area, Kampala, Uganda.

    By Post: The Secretary, Muljibhai Madhvani Foundation, P.O.Box 6361, Kampala, Uganda.

NOTE:

  • No payment should be made by the applicant at any stage of the application process.
  • The application must reach the Secretary no later than 30th April 2024.
  • Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
