About U.S. Mission Uganda:
The U.S. Mission in Uganda is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Management Assistant (CDC). This role involves overseeing day-to-day administrative functions and logistical coordination in support of the Centers for Disease Control Uganda country office. Job Details:
- Position: Administrative Management Assistant (CDC)

- Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Start Date: Candidate must be able to start within a reasonable period
- Supervisory Position: No
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate office management, including transcription of meeting minutes, correspondence preparation, and document management.
- Handle travel arrangements, procurement processing, maintenance requests, and time and attendance.
- Manage motor pool arrangements and other assigned administrative duties.

Qualifications and Evaluations:
- Education: Completion of two-year College or University Studies
- Experience: Two years of office administration or secretarial experience required
- Language: English Level IV (Fluent) and Luganda Level 3 (Good working knowledge) required
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong typing and computer skills
- Other: All applicants must pass medical and security certifications
