Job Summary:
Street Child is seeking detail-oriented individuals to collect data across its different programmes. Enumerators will be responsible for administering and entering all programme-related baseline, midterm, and end line surveys, starting from data collection to data entry, under the guidance of the Research Analyst.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct data collection activities in assigned schools, including administering surveys, assessments, and observations.
- Ensure accurate and ethical data collection, adhering to Street Child’s Safeguarding Policy.
- Collaborate effectively with the programme team and provide regular progress updates.
- Report any safeguarding concerns or challenges faced during data collection.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Education, Social Sciences, etc.).
- Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices for data entry or uploading data efficiently.
- 1-2 years of experience in data collection or research, preferably in the education sector.
- Resident within the preferred district.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and the local language (Kiryandongo—Luo, Juba Arabic; Palabek—Acholi, Juba Arabic; Kyaka II—Swahili; Kyangwali—Swahili).
