Job Title: Branch Executive at Tugende
Job Description:
The Branch Executive at Tugende will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and profitable operation of all branch activities. They will ensure the achievement of set targets, expense control, and provide strong leadership to the operations teams. Additionally, the Branch Executive will exemplify Tugende’s Core Values of Integrity, Empathy, Solutions Oriented, Teamwork, and Continuous Growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Provide strong leadership to operations teams to achieve set targets and control expenses.
- Supervise staff for smooth operations and service delivery.
- Coordinate safety and security functions at the branch.
- Train and coach all field teams and support functions.
- Participate in regular performance reviews for branch staff.
- Ensure proper support to the branch by head office functions.
Customer Service:
- Understand and respond to clients’ questions and challenges.
- Train team members to provide excellent customer service and resolve queries.
- Monitor client lifecycle and ensure proper assets lease management.
- Attract new customers and expand customer base.
- Support product marketing and information campaigns.
- Generate sales through field marketing activities and customer engagement.
Manage Field Operations:
- Support collection and recovery processes.
- Ensure proper implementation of operational policies and procedures.
Reporting:
- Submit operations status reports to supervisors.
- Strengthen stakeholder engagements and local business partnerships.
- Identify new business opportunities within the region.
Manage Branch Administration:
- Custodian of all branch resources.
- Ensure branch profitability by increasing sales and monitoring expenses.
- Propose process, procedure, and cost-efficiency improvements.
- Ensure a conducive working environment with required resources for team productivity.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business.
- Certified copies of all academic documents.
- At least 3+ years of management or supervisory experience, preferably in asset finance/microfinance.
- Riding competence preferably Class A and B.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- High degree of integrity and transparency.
- Ability to connect with customers, colleagues, and the community.
