TotalEnergies EP Uganda is excited to offer Graduate Trainee opportunities to fresh university graduates with a minimum of an upper second-class bachelor’s degree, not exceeding two years after graduation. The Graduate Trainee opportunities are available in the following areas:

1. Reservoir Engineer Graduate Trainee

  • Number of Graduate Trainees: 02
  • Provide support in the Geoscience & Reservoir department for short-term activities (preparation and execution of over 400 wells), midterm activities (readiness for first oil from a reservoir management perspective), and to support the team’s nationalization plan.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering.
  • Maximum 2 years post-graduation experience in the petroleum industry.

2. Geoscientist Graduate Trainee

  • Number of Graduate Trainees: 04
  • Provide support to the Social Performance department in stakeholder management and corporate social responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geosciences, Geology, or Geophysics.
  • Maximum 2 years post-graduation experience in the petroleum industry.

3. Graduate Well Supervisor Engineer

  • TotalEnergies EP Uganda offers entry-level opportunities for Well Supervisors on-site.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a 4-month training program on well completion and intervention at the International French Petroleum Institute (IFP) in France.
  • This opportunity is open to young university graduates and engineers with experience willing to specialize in well completion supervision.

Who Can Apply?

  • Students with a Bachelor’s degree in general engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or petroleum engineering from a recognized University are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility:

  • Ugandan citizen
  • Below 28 years of age
  • First Class Degree or Upper Second-Class Degree in Bachelor of Engineering

Selection Criteria:

  • Shortlisted candidates will go through panel interviews.
  • Upon completion of the training program, successful candidates will be offered employment.

Application Procedure:

  • Please send a detailed cover letter and CV explaining why you should be considered for this Well Supervision program.
  • Note: Do not attach other documents at this stage.

Required Documents (to be provided later for shortlisted candidates):

  • Certified copies of university transcripts
  • Certified university degree certificate
  • Introductory letter from your Local Council
  • Two passport size photos
  • Copy of passport
