Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Realize processes for acceptance, flight preparation, and delivery of any cargo and mail carried.
  • Accompany loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring it is free from damage and complete.
  • Act as the first point of contact for resolving any irregularities that occur during cargo shipments.
  • Develop relations with agents, customers, and industry companies, seeking new markets and announcing fares, charges, regulations, and innovations.
  • Assess available and potential cargo opportunities in the region, informing the Regional Cargo Manager and issuing reports when necessary.
  • Establish and enhance cooperation with cargo agents and other airlines to find cargo for company flights.
  • Conduct visits to agents and participate in sales-marketing activities as per the marketing program.
  • Monitor and implement procedures, instructions, and international publications related to cargo charges and regulations.
  • Take necessary actions to ensure systematic performance of cargo sales and services in the region.
  • Contribute to achieving all targets by adhering to company policies.
  • Manage official paper (AWB) stocks, ensuring safekeeping, distribution, and transaction in accordance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with official authorities and handling agencies, following rules and regulations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • High School graduation (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum one year of experience in cargo or logistics
  • Knowledge of cargo operations, including airline cargo sales and pricing strategies
  • Competency with MS Office products
  • Good command of English and local language(s)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Permanent residence permit in the respective country (The Company will not provide or assist with work permits)
  • Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers and business contacts
