Job Title: Fresher Procurement and Logistics Assistant

Duty Station: Moyo, Uganda

Reports to: Procurement and Logistics Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of procurement procedures and policies.
• Support in the preparation of procurement plans and schedules.
• Coordinate the receipt and verification of goods, services, and works.
• Assist in the evaluation of suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of procurement documents.
• Assist in the management of inventory and stock control.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements.
• Support in the preparation of procurement reports and documentation.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Procurement and Logistics Officer.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Procurement and Logistics Management or related field.
• Previous experience in procurement and logistics will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
