Job Title: Manager, Treasury Cash and Banking

Reports to: Senior Manager, Treasury Cash and Banking

Main Job Functions:

  • Responsible for Daily Cash Position and Bank Balances Management.
  • Monitor and participate as a primary dealer in Forex and money market deals, ensuring competitive rates for the company.
  • Supervise the Cash Management and Collections Sections.
  • Prepare Cash Flow planning/Forecasts to meet Company Obligations as per agreed SLAs.
  • Verify Cash Management, Supplier, MTN Foundation, Customs payments, and Interbank Transfers on the Bank Platforms.
  • Verify Cash Management Payments on ECW.
  • Handle Upstream Dividend payments to Shareholders.
  • Maintain Loan Principal and Interest Schedules for Reporting.
  • Ensure Loan Principal and Interest payments are made on time.
  • Review and Validate Cash Management Transactions in Oracle.
  • Conduct Monthly Review of Arc Reconciliations for the Treasury Accounts assigned after the GL is closed.
  • Prepare Monthly Review & submission of all Treasury Reports to Opco and Group per the agreed deadlines.
  • Manage Treasury Back Office Operations.
  • Maintain Bank Relationship Management.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related Business Course.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CTP (Minimum completion of stage 1 required).
  • Certification in Treasury Management/Risk Management/Financial Analysis is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the area of specialization.
  • 3 years of practical working experience with Treasury/Accounting/Finance/Banking skills.

Training:

  • Financial Management and Accounting training.
  • Treasury, Money Market, and Foreign Exchange dealership training.
  • Bank Relationship Management training.
  • Financial Modelling training.
  • Negotiation Skills.

  • Knowledge of Financial procedures and policies.
