Job Title: MIS Officer
Reports to: Financial Planning and Analytics Manager
Department: Finance
Job Summary:
The MIS Officer is responsible for designing and managing information systems, analyzing data, and tracking data needed to implement the Bank’s strategy. They facilitate efficient business operations and effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize information systems to generate data required for management decision-making and to implement the bank’s strategy.
- Generate comprehensive reports on the bank’s business operations across functions and departments.
- Support business managers in preparing business cases, particularly financial modeling and analysis.
- Understand specific business requirements and design/develop solutions to implement desired changes.
- Design and implement branch scorecards, customer net promoter scores, and relationship managers’ performance scorecards.
- Automate all MIS-related & regulatory reports.
- Cooperate and communicate with staff across departments to integrate information management into day-to-day business metrics.
- Ensure all MIS processes are prepared and disseminated according to agreed service level agreements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems and procedures for collecting, maintaining, and ensuring the integrity of business data.
- Play a key role in the rollout of new Banking software to address all MIS needs.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or relevant fields from a reputable University.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in Finance.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, MS SQL MySQL).
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Sound financial knowledge.
- Competent in data manipulation.
- Attention to detail.
