JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall purpose of the job: To support the Mechanical section in its activities while on training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in various tasks within the Mechanical section.
- Learn and apply mechanical engineering principles under the guidance of senior staff.
- Participate in project planning and execution.
- Contribute to the development of solutions for mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives.
Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its Equivalent from a recognized Institution.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for constant interactions with employees, management, and stakeholders.
- MS Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for creating engaging materials, reports, presentations, and proposals.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and interpret raw information and data, document findings, and make recommendations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Must demonstrate helpfulness, calmness, and professionalism, particularly during times of uncertainty.
- People Skills: Ability to earn the trust and respect of departmental heads and management.
