Job Title: 4 IT Interns

Organization: Agrosahas International Private Limited

Location: Nalukolongo and Mbuya

Main responsibilities:

• User Support: Assist in providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and offering guidance on IT-related concerns.
• Network Administration: Gain exposure to basic network administration tasks, including configuring routers, switches, and ensuring the stability and security of our network infrastructure.
• System Administration: Learn about system administration by assisting in tasks such as setting up user accounts, managing permissions, and ensuring the reliability and security of servers.
• Hardware and Software Maintenance: Assist in maintaining computer systems and equipment, including installing software updates, troubleshooting hardware problems, and ensuring the overall functionality of IT resources.
• Data Management: Participate in tasks related to data management, including data entry, database maintenance, and ensuring data integrity and security.
• Cybersecurity Awareness: Contribute to activities focused on promoting cybersecurity awareness, assisting in implementing security measures, and educating users on best practices for safeguarding digital assets.
• Helpdesk Support: Collaborate with the IT team to manage the helpdesk, responding to user inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating problems when necessary
• Technology Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, conducting research to provide insights into potential improvements or innovations that can benefit the organization.
• Documentation and Reporting: Assist in creating and updating IT documentation, including manuals, guides, and reports, to ensure that processes and procedures are well-documented and easily accessible.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members on various IT projects, gaining practical experience in project management, task coordination, and effective communication within an IT team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of IT concepts and a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
