Job Title: Legal Assistant – Tax Department

Job responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining company documents, including annual reports, meeting minutes, resolutions, and other related documents.
- Coordinate and manage corporate governance matters, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of corporate entities, ensuring all filings are completed on time and accurately.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to corporate matters.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure smooth execution of company secretarial tasks.
- Collaborate with legal teams to gather and organize documents, evidence, and information for TAT litigation cases.
- Conduct legal research to support the preparation of legal arguments and strategies for TAT hearings.
- Assist in preparing legal submissions, affidavits, and other court documents.
- Coordinate communication between the legal team, clients, and external parties involved in TAT cases.
- Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and readily accessible.
- Provide administrative support to the Tax Department, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Assist in maintaining the department’s database and filing system.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the department’s activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal and corporate information.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Completed Post Graduate Diploma (LDC).
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably with exposure to tax-related matters.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures and company secretarial practices.
