Job Title: Statisticians

Job Summary:
- Conduct data collection
- Conduct data collection using the provided data collection surveys through interviews and direct observation.
- Interview the identified participants of the project within the project area to ensure the data and info that have been recorded within registered forms.
- Document all the findings in the provided data collection tools.
- Compiling and sorting the filled data collection tools as directed by the supervisor.
- Ensure collected data is accurately recorded.
- Capture data using digital data entry technology provided.
- Ensure anonymity of respondents and develop relationship of trust and safe space during data collection exercise with respondents.
- Identify and report any challenges faced that could affect the quality of the data.
- Report daily issues and challenges to the project officers.
- Any other duties assigned by the project manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in collecting, analysing and storing data into useful information;
- Assisting in production of statistical reports;
- Assisting in appraising development projects;
- Assisting in organizing and implementing national surveys;
- Assisting in providing technical support on statistical matters;
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics; or Quantitative Economics; or any other related field from a recognized University / Institution.
Mandatory requirements for Applicants: –
- Scan, attach and submit on-line recent passport size photograph and relevant documents (‘O’ Level, and ‘A’ Level Certificates, Degree Transcript and Certificates).
- Each attachment must not exceed a limit of 1MB and only Portable Document Format (PDF) is allowed;
