Job Title: Data Management Officer
Organization: Mildmay Research Centre Uganda
Roles and responsibilities:
- The job holder ensures that data generated from patient care or research projects is efficiently captured and appropriately stored to inform;
- measurement and learning, scientific writing, knowledge management, grant proposals development, decision making, and
- performance monitoring for Mildmay Research Centre programmes;
- the role includes data tracking and review in liaison with research center teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, Computer science, Statistics, Records management, Quantitative Economics, Populations studies
- Certificate in Computer Science, CISCO, Computer Applications
- 1 year’s working experience in data management
- Experience in using HMIS and Uganda EMR data management systems
- Experience in managing manual medical records
- Experience in using MSExcel, MS Access,
- Experience basic statistical analysis packages like SPSS is an added advantage
