Job Title: Cyber threat analyst

Roles and responsibilities

To collect, aggregate and analyze Cyber Threat Intelligence information to identify, predict cyber threats, trends and provide protection mechanisms through advisories, alerts, reports.

To support implementation of the Corporate cyber security framework and Information Technology Policy.

To receive, investigate and respond to both reported and anticipated cyber security incidents and recommend appropriate countermeasures.

To carry out periodic cyber security awareness resulting from research on current cyber threats, attack methodologies, and detection techniques.

To research, deploy, maintain and improve cyber threat / information security monitoring technologies.

To provide practical assistance on information security risk management to the Commission and external stakeholders
-
To carry out any other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber/information security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication/Computer/Software engineering

Professional certification in any related security field such as, CySA+/ CISSP/ GWAPT/ GREM/ CEH/ CISA/ OSCP is required
- Two (2) years of working experience in Information /Cybersecurity or relevant field in similar corporate setting
