Job Summary:

Roles and responsibilities:

• Register reinsurance claims.
• Review claim support documents shared.
• Recompute  reinsurance share as per the signed placement slip.
• Process payment , communicate to the reinsurer.
• Timely notification of losses .
• Update reinsurers with all the required claim support documents except internal information.
• Keep a report on reinsurance claims.
• Advising finance on reinsurance claim payments made and keep receipts on claim files.
• Making of cash calls on the surplus claims that exceed the cash limit.
• Having an understanding on how to compute both facultative and treaty claims.
• Making of claim recoveries from other reinsurers

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree (B): Actuarial Science (Required),
• Bachelors Degree (B): Business Administration/Management
