Roles and Responsibilities:
- Comply with safe, health and environmental procedures and legislation
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
- Identification of unsafe practices through SIO’s
- Safety inspections
- Audit of Safe maintenance practices
- Adherence to PPE policies
- Keeping Maintenance tools in good working order
- Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation and or systems.
- Plan and prepare the job
- Carry out repairs / maintenance
- Communicate effectively in teams
- Contribute to self and team development
- Portray good knowledge of Packaging processes and Technologies
- Ensure total productive maintenance
- Demonstrate high energy, balanced personality self-discipline and drive, conceptualizing and innovative thinking, goal oriented and a strong output bias
- Have a proactive mindset & ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Coach Operators
- Utilize short interval controls to identify problems
- Apply problem solving techniques to resolve situational problems
- Support the overall Packaging team initiatives and arrangements
- Any other duties assigned by the Maintenance controller
Qualifications for Nile Breweries Jobs 2022
- B.Sc. Engineering degree –Electrical
- Min. National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Good leadership potential
- Good knowledge of production processes and technologies
- Familiarity with maintenance systems e.g. COSWIN
- Influencing ability with regards to sound maintenance practices
