Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.
Job Summary:
The Internal Audit Assistant will support the Internal Audit function in ensuring an independent systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of policies, procedures and standards designed to add value and improve operations. He/She will also be responsible for providing reasonable assurance in compliance with internal controls, corporate governance and ensure that risk management systems are functioning as intended.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in; Commerce (Accounting) or Business Administration (Accounting), Economics, Statistics, or any other business degree.
- Part Qualification- Level II in ACCA, CPA or CIA will be an added advantage
- At least two years of audit experience (internal or external audit) in a reputable organization.
- Experience in auditing academic institutions will be an added advantage
