Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.
Job Summary:
This position holder is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students of the Mildmay Uganda School of Clinical Officers to fully develop skills and fulfil their academic potential.
He/she will work as part of the team to ensure that the curriculum, as set by the Ministry of Education and Sports, is delivered at the set standards and that examinations are conducted in line with the Uganda Allied Health Professionals Examinations body guidelines and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- A Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health with a Bachelor Degree in Medical Education;
- The successful candidate must be registered with the Allied health professionals’ council with a current Annual Practicing Licence.
Job-related experience and knowledge:
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Tutor in a school of Clinical Officers or 3 years’ experience in a busy Clinical setting.
- He/she should have experience/knowledge relevant MOH/MOES guidelines and policies; and ability to network and liaise with various partners.
