Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.
Job Summary:
The position holder will plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students of the Mildmay Uganda Nursing School to fully develop skills and fulfil their academic potential. The job holder will work as part of the team to ensure that the curriculum, as set by the Ministry of Education and Sports, is delivered at the set standards and that examinations are conducted in line with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Examinations Board (UNMEB) guidelines and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing plus post graduate diploma in medical education or Diploma in Education OR Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery and Bachelor Degree in Medical Education.
- S/he must be registered with the relevant health professionals’ council with a current Annual Practicing License.
- The successful candidate must have at least 1 year’s work experience as a Tutor in a Nursing School OR 3 years’ experience in a busy Clinical setting, and knowledge relevant MOH/MOES guidelines and policies.
