Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited (CiplaQCIL) is the largest pharmaceutical manufacturer in East Africa and one of the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). CiplaQCIL is a World Health Organization (WHO) cGMP compliant Facility that manufactures antiretrovirals, artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs) and, Hepatitis medicines, to treat HIV/AIDS, Malaria, and Hepatitis respectively.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all established cGMP are maintained
• Ensuring that equipment is maintained, calibrated and cleaned
• Ensuring that housekeeping and maintenance are performed Undertaking granulation of materials, monitoring and recording of the process parameters as provided in the BMR and SOPS
• Maintaining status labelling on the equipment
• Ensure that the established EHS guidelines are adhered to
• Maintaining of proper material handling during processing
• Maintaining inventory of required tools, spares an perform preventive maintenance on all equipment to ensure down time is minimized Ensuring that cGMP, SOPs and Change Control Systems are followed
• Maintaining and observing relevant documentation related to qualification, validation and preventive maintenance

Minimum Qualifications

• The applicant must hold an Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• At least two years of experience in a busy industrial setup
